Responsible for aerial gunnery development, training, and proficiency of the brigade's 200+ rated, non-rated and unmanned aircrew members. Responsible for planning and resourcing aerial gunnery training events for the AH-64E Apache, UH-60L/M Blackhawk, CH-47F Chinook, RQ-7B Shadow, and MQ-1C Gray Eagle. Principal duties include: ensure innovative and relevant tactics, techniques, and procedures are incorporated into gunnery training yielding increased proficiency and decisive fires against our nation's near peer threats. Provide leadership and supervision as a senior Standardization Pilot, Mixed MDS Air Mission Commander, Multi-Airframe Mission Briefer, Instrument Flight Examiner, and qualified Aviation Mission Survivability Officer.

Squadron Senior Warrant Officer and Standardization Instructor Pilot assigned to 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade. Responsible for the planning, coordination, and training of all AH-64D operations withing the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade. Responsible for the discipline, training, proficiency and morale of over 50 Warrant Officers within the unit. Subject matter expert on all aspects of attack helicopter operations. Charged with the responsibility to enforce standards throughout the Squadron's Aircrew Training Program and to ensure all aircrews are combat trained and ready to meet the requirements of 3rd Infantry Division. Responsible for evaluating the combat readiness on all assigned aircrews through a rigorous training and evaluation program utilizing individual, crew, and collective training. As the Senior Warrant Officer, responsible for teaching, coaching, mentoring and assisting all Warrant Officers ensuring they have a clear glide path to professional growth.

Responsible for aerial gunnery development, training, and proficiency of the Squadron's 70 aircrew members. Responsible for planning and resourcing squadron-level aerial gunnery training events for the AH-64D Apache, UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, and RQ-7 Shadow, accounting for and allocating ammunition, developing test fire areas, and managing the aerial gunnery program in order to increase combat lethality. Provide leadership and supervision as a senior Standardization Pilot, Mixed MDS Air Mission Commander, Multi-Airframe Mission Briefer, Instrument Flight Examiner, and qualified Aviation Mission Survivability Officer.

Responsible for providing tactical and technical flight and academic instruction on all aspects of the AH-64D operations for assigned and supported aviators. Responsible for managing the troop Aircrew Training Program and serve as an advisor to the troop commander while providing quality control of the Aircrew Training Program. Responsible for the training of assigned aviators to conduct deliberate attacks, air assault security, close combat attacks, reconnaissance, and joint operations. Provide leadership and supervision as an Air Mission Commander, Multiple Airframe Mission Briefer, Instrument Examiner, Master Gunner, and qualified Aviation Mission Survivability Officer.
