This includes grinding discs, sanding belts, polishing compounds and buffing wheels.Supervised product development of items created & produced by Just Mfg. and coordinated with Engineering, Production & Material Handling to develop & add new components to the material list.Worked with the Sales Department on orders that required non-stock or modified versions of existing components. I worked with the vendor's rep to identify that item, purchase that item, receive that item in a timely manner and issue that item to production. I would also decide whether we would add that item to our list of components.Established Min/Max levels and re-order points for all packaging & shipping supplies. Determined components, packaging & shipping supply requirements from that data. Maintained an inventory of all supplies based on the quantities and vendor lead times.Worked with Maintenance Team to establish an inventory of repair parts, including several proprietary polishing machines requiring repair parts available only from the original machine maker. We identified parts used most often, charted machine time, predicted breakdowns, forecasted and stocked those parts.Worked closely with Plant Manager on all construction and facility maintenance projects.
