CurrentCoordinate and oversee personal computer administration and support. Perform routine computer administration and support as well as more complex administration and support duties, including developing configuration standards, recommending software and hardware changes, and coordinating and implementing network security measures. Collaborate with supervisors, managers, executives and judges.Respond to various IT-related help desk requests regarding equipment, network configurations and software issues. Provide ad-hoc training for user application questions. Assist both internal and external customers with routine inquiries received at the IT help desk. Recommend changes to improve systems and configuration as well as determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming technology events and equipment.Diagnose hardware and software problems and performs maintenance or upgrades to remedy issues. Develops and implements short term and long range automation improvement plans for the court to ensure that changes can be implemented with minimal disruption to the court site. Conduct site surveys in preparation for installation of computer equipment and software. Receives, tests, and installs new updated software releases of both standard and customized office automation products and court developed systems.Act as District Domino Administrator and manage all Lotus Notes requests.Environment includes Lotus Notes 8.5.2, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows 7 Workstation, Windows 2008 Server, VMware ESX Server 3.5, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Backup Exec and various versions of Linux.
