As the team lead of our four-member squad, I took charge in navigating our journey through a prestigious national construction management competition. Given a two-month timeframe, we immersed ourselves in the creation of a fictional general contracting company, meticulously crafting a bid while also formulating robust project management strategies, quality control protocols, and safety plans. Our efforts paid off as we progressed to the next stage, where we found ourselves in Kissimmee, Florida, engaging in a spontaneous on-site activity. Despite the pressure, our team's dedication shone through, resulting in a commendable second-place finish in the competitive safety category. This achievement underscores our collective determination, teamwork, and dedication to excellence in the construction management realm.
