Robert Johnson is the Chief Technology Officer at Millennium Garages in Chicago, IL. He is responsible for implementing Flash's cloud-based Parking and Access Control System (PARCS) across all 4 of Millennium's Garages; Grant Park North, Grant Park South, Lakeside and Millennium Park. He was VP of Technology Integration at SPPlus, where he managed Parking RFP processes, PARCS installations & Remote Management Service (RMS) integrations. He was also the Managing Director of Advanced Parking Technologies with Standard Parking Corporation, one of the largest Parking and Transportation Operators in North America & as Senior Manager of Field Projects for Focus Point, the Remote Management Division of Central Parking. He also oversaw the initial design & implementation of CentralParking.com, Central Parking’s consumer facing retail website & assisted in engaging social media applications, such as Facebook and web marketing initiatives, such as AAA & Open Table.Robert’s parking industry career spans more than 25 years, where he has achieved Operational Senior Management positions in Off-Airport Parking at Airport Satellite Parking, Avistar, Parking Company of America Airports & Fast Track Parking. He was part of the launch team for AirportDiscountParking.com, a National Freequent Parker Loyalty Program & part of the Company that first launched prepaid parking on Expedia & Orbitz.Robert has managed fleets of buses, established a National Claims Office, built a Company Intranet site for improved claims administration, fleet tracking & communications. He has achieved verticals in Parking Operations Management in the areas of Claims Management, Fleet Transportation, Hotel Valet, Marketing, Off-Airport, Remote Management, Snow Removal, Valet & PARCS.He has worked for such notables as The Ritz Carlton, Kinney System & Hines.
