27 years of experience in logistics, distribution and warehousing. Over the last 6 years, I have successfully transitioned into the role of Regional Manager, Cold Chain Assurance . In addition, I have developed and facilitated Food Safety, Health and Safety and GMP training for Management, Supervision and Warehouse staff at the Ontario sites. I have regular interactions with Government regulatory bodies such as the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Ministry of Labour. Advise Business Development as to the sites best suited for various customer requirements.• Create, implement, verify and validate that prerequisite programs, written procedures and records address all requirements of the FSEP Manual and reviewed for completeness and compliance.• Training of site HACCP Coordinators. Providing the tools to assist the site HACCP coordinators with FSEP/CFIA issues, customer audits and document monitoring and verification.

  The Manager, Cold Chain Assurance provides technical expertise and executional assistance to VersaCold’s business units to ensure Food Safety and Quality programs are implemented and executed to meet corporate, customer and regulatory requirements.The position is responsible for the regional implementation of effective programs, systems and communications to ensure the safety, legality and quality of products at VersaCold. The position is responsible for ensuring (a) VersaCold’s compliance to HACCP and all related Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requirements within the region; (b) quality management exceeds customers’ expectations and; (c) food safety strategy and quality initiatives are communicated and implemented across VersaCold business units. As a subject matter expert, the Manager, Cold Chain Assurance works with all business units in the region to address customer specifications, interpret regulations and deliver against corporate food safety directives.
