SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:I have forty-seven years of experience as a geologist in exploration for base- and precious-metal deposits in the western part of the United States, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, and South America. Positions have been held in many capacities from field geologist to directing both large drilling projects and regional reconnaissance generative exploration programs searching for base-, precious-, platinum-group and rare earth metal deposits. For 17 years, I worked as a contract senior geologist for SAMEX Mining Corp. (Abbotsford, B.C.) directing their exploration efforts in Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina; and also held the Vice President of Exploration title presenting/writing their public technical news releases and reports. I am, by nature, a practical, field-oriented geologist with excellent mapping and core logging skills, and ability to work competently in most geologic settings and ore deposit types. I am adept at integrating geologic, geochemical, and geophysical data into cohesive interpretive picture and applying innovative thinking to carrying out exploration project work. In the past, my responsibilities have also included: preparing detailed project proposals, estimating work costs/staffing levels for funding, carrying out/directing exploration project work, planning, and supervising day-to-day and long-term activities of project personnel, accounting of project expenditures, and writing technical summary reports and news releases of exploration activities. While I have enjoyed recently resuming geologic work in mining and exploration on a part-time seasonal basis; I would consider longer-term positions. I am most interested in taking on project-level field work, as well as carrying out generative exploration exploits.
