Supervise and assist Production Metrologists, Quality Assurance Auditors and Quality Assurance Auditor Apprentices through their job functions. Over the summer (May to mid August) I worked on the Plant Move, qualifying machines and conducting Capability Studies to assure internal and external customers that the machines were producing parts that could be held to a four sigma level of quality.From August to October I began to take on tasks that Quality Engineers preform. I have assisted in screening recalled parts, setting up work orders, preforming Root Cause and Corrective Actions on several processes and machines and am currently conducting a study to determine the Root Cause of poor concentricities on several families of parts.From the middle of October to the end of 2014 I facilitated both internal and at a customers manufacturing center. During the time in the customers center I supervised a 4 week field sort effort, utilizing 12 temporary workers to screen over $3 million in product to certify that it was compliant to both our internal and our customers quality standards.Starting in May of 2015 I worked in the Continuous Improvement group. My main project was programming a Keyence Visual System. Over the course of a 3 month period, over 175 part numbers, or 34 million parts made over a 6 month period, were programmed to have a 100% external dimension check. I also contributed to the creation of a scope, project guidelines and the generation of quotes to have outside vendors create tools and dies that were to assist in the manufacturing of 54 different part numbers.
