After working in construction for 13 years, Rob spent 20 years working in construction law on Bay Street in Toronto, with one of Canada's leading construction law firms.  He is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Construction Law and ranked by Lexpert as a Leading Construction Lawyer.On March 1, 2017 Rob launched Kennaley Construction Law. He has acted for clients at all levels of the construction industry, including owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and design consultants, as well as municipalities and government ministries and agencies. His his day to day practice involves contract drafting, negotiations, construction lien and trust claims, claims against owners, consultants and insurers, tendering issues, building code violations, claims against performance and labour and material payment bonds, claims for and against maintenance contractors and Occupational Health and Safety Act charges.Rob is the past Chairman of the Ontario Construction Bid Depository's Judicial Advisory Committee and is currently a member of the Electrical Contractor's Association of Ontario's Standard Practices Committee. Rob is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, the Construction Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Norfolk Law Association, the Advocates Society and the Toronto Construction Association. He is also an Honourary member of Landscape Ontario.
