CurrentMaintained infrastructure that includes,Dark Fiber, Hybrid Fiber-Coax, DWDM and FTTH networks,Voice platform and Metro Ethernet• Commissioned new networks and network-related equipment on the infrastructure; certifying new Nodes, Drive tests, optimization, and Simulations.• Performed Fiber Activation from the Optical Line terminal to the Fiber Distribution Terminal and then to the Fiber Access Terminal for the connection of new clients.• I worked with an OSA,OTDR, optical power meter, visual fault locator, and fiber identifier in troubleshooting faults in DWDM and fibre to home network.• Performed Fiber splicing on various optical fibers.• Conducted preventive and corrective maintenance forunderground and overhead network.•I Worked jointly with the construction team in HFC power supply unitscollocations to provide stable power, resulting in decline in power outages.•I lead the team in installation and maintenance of batteries for provision of backup powerto the OLTs in the GPON network and power supply units in the HFC network.
