Tyler, Texas Area

As Project Concrete Superintendent with Sundt Construction, I worked on multiple projects. Responsibilities included managing concrete crews with the highest safety and productivity standards in mind, coordinating with project managers to maintain short term schedules based on project goals, as well as identifying and tracking quantities and costs, materials and resources.

Southern Cailforna

As Project Structures Superintendent with Shimmick Construction, I supervised the construction of the Haster Pump Station, a show piece project for Orange County, CA. It involved construction of a large retention basin, a soccer field, and a parking lot along with the pump station and its control room, with epoxy coated floors and stainless steel inner wokings. I took it from the ground up through the final punch list.I also worked on a number of large Cal Trans Freeway Projects such as the Gerald Desmond Bridge in Long Beach CA.

California, Maine, Colorado

In my 17 plus years working for Flatiron Construction, I was given the great opportunity to experience all types of bridge and roadway construction. I started as a Bridge Structures Foreman with an emphasis in heavy falsework along with piledriving, large drilled shafts and shoring. I soon advanced to Structures Superintendent. One project involved working on the Sacramento River for the $90 mill retrofit of the Benicia Bridge. The projects were exciting and challenging. I was able to develop and mentor a number of future supervisors.

Greater San Diego Area

Construction of large falsework for the Hwy 805 & Hwy 5 interchange in San Diego, CA. The project required crossing two railway lines with a commuter station and city streets and buildings.
