Working as an electrical maintenance technician my duties included carrying out routine maintenance generated by the planned maintenance system. I also performed several Atex inspections of electrical equipment throughout the platform. During a planned shutdown of the platform I was responsible for putting in place electrical isolations for different work parties and filling in the relative paperwork. Whilst on board I became familiar with the petrofac permit to work system and took out permits for the tasks that I would perform.

Centrica York/ Centrica Ensign

Working along side petrofac personnel to perform routine and non routine maintenance including repositioning of instrumentation and electrical equipment. Performing ex inspections in line with the planned maintenance system and updating all relevant paperwork.

Offshore Azerbaijan

Central Azeri BP AssetWorking within a team during an equipment change out on a Derrick gantry crane and pipe handling system. My jobs within the team included being involved in the lifting and placement of all equipment I also helped with all mechanical and hydronic equipment including the installation of the pipe handling unit on the underside of the gantry crane. As the only electrical technician within the team my work scope involved glanding and terminating all equipment between gantry crane and pipe handling unit. I worked to electrical diagrams whilst connecting multicore cables through junction boxes. I also connected electrical equipment such as CCTV cameras and limit switches.
