What drives me? -- If you're going to do it, do it right & do it right the first time.Growing up & working in my dad's gas & service station left me with a passion for engineering and building things. It was only natural that I pursue engineering. But as a result of being deeply involved in a Baldridge Quality Review ( I authored the results analysis section and was overall editor), I realized it wasn't enough, that engineering was only a part of the puzzle and I wanted to become more involved with the bigger picture. I shifted my focus to quality and took it upon myself to get my ASQC certifications as a supplier quality engineer and quality manager and worked the quality side for several years. I made the jump to production/manufacturing first as an Operations Program Manager and now as Integrated Systems Test Department manager. I went to school in the evenings to get my MBA to better train for the business/management facet required in working for a hi-tech company that has Samsung, Intel, & Global Foundries as its customers. I take pride in my department, it was good when I took it over and I believe it's even better now. The next step; put it all together and direct a top shelf manufacturing operation.
