I have worked in my previous position for the past 7 years as a Senior Recovery Analyst under United Health Group in which I resolve patient credit balance accounts to a zero or corrected debit balance. Beyond this core job function, I was the most flexible with commuting within the Northern California region on our 20 person team. My site visits at these facilities required me to go through the standard screenings and training necessary at each facility to meet the vendor expectations to be considered as similar to their own employees. I had to quickly learn people’s names, positions, and job functionality to maximize my workflow.Some highlights through these actions included making unprofitable provider to an increased revenue stream just from me introducing myself, letting people know my position, and how I can alleviate their work. I was able to build a stronger relationship, increase our accessibility for future employees, and have a competitive edge over our competition. Working as a telecommuter within my business segment, my position is view as a vendor and outsider. I worked at a facility where there was another vendor that was our competitors in the same industry. After our 3 month trial, our team was able to outperform our rivals by using our available technology and innovations. We built our relationship by alleviating workload from the provider’s daily task and providing recommendations to increase their productivity.
