About Robert Lippens

With an analytical background in mathematics and physics and a passion for software, I have begun to establish myself as a software engineer. I engage in a variety of different roles in my current position - from front-end development work on dozens of popular websites to the back-end solutions powering them. Throughout this, I have been exposed to and gained valuable experience in a wide variety of industry tools and procedures.In my spare time, I enjoy dabbling in various technologies, including the latest and greatest JavaScript and compile-to-javascript languages like Elm. At my current company I've spearheaded the effort to use new frameworks and libraries like ReactJS and Redux, as well as modern tooling and syntax like Webpack, Babel, and ES6.
