My name is Robert Long and I am a Penn State journalism major set to graduate in December 2018. From writing news stories to taking photographs, my interests within the reporting field are vast and growing. I have experience conducting interviews with expert and official sources, collaborating on stories in teams of my peers, and working with a professional DSLR camera to complete short deadline assignments along with long-term photo stories. A few years back, I started a wordpress site to act as a repository for my wrestling fandom. A former high school wrestler and football player myself, I've since traded in my singlet and helmet for a keyboard and camera, but my passion for sports and sports reporting has only intensified. Now defunct, the archived articles within D1wrestlingreport.wordpress.com exhibit many of the grammatical and style errors one might expect from an unrefined 18 year old boy.
