Current• Using Esprit Cam software: Create new part programs, evaluate, edit, improve and archive CNC programs• Using MasterCam software: Create new part programs, evaluate, edit, improve and archive CNC Laser programs• Using Inventor CAD software: Create part models/drawings, production models/drawings and assembly layout models/drawings used in programming and production.• Continuous Improvement PDCA team leader • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to select tooling, improve manufacturing process, layouts and programs for efficiency and quality• Provide Cost Benefit Analyses concerning tooling for the Parts Manager as requested • Developed and continue to improve “setup” Excel spread sheets to determine accurate setup times required at individual work centers• Use Lean Manufacturing and SMED principles to improve productivity• Developed work center specific standard tooling lists for use by Manufacturing Engineers in creating processes and CNC programs• Work with Engineering to evaluate products and tolerances for improved quality and ease of manufacture as needed• Work with Research & Development to evaluate and improve new products, manufacturing processes and quality as requested• Work with Quality Assurance to improve quality and manufacturing processes• Make minor improvements to CMM programs as needed to ensure current revisions are being met, improve program accuracy and usability• Set-up and manufacture products to exacting specifications and current revisions• Inspect parts manually or with a CMM as needed• Work closely with Parts Manager and Machinist on all shifts to achieve productivity and “on-time” delivery goals• Train employees in program editing, set-up, operation, inspection and all other aspects pertinent to quality manufacturing• Create Excel spread sheets to discern and track production and QA information• Track daily productivity and “on-time” completion of shop orders in my work area using Excel spread sheets
