• Manage 28 drivers, Schedule routes for drivers, Create routes when necessary• Hiring, training and disciplining of all employees. Responsible for maintaining all records and files• Maintain records of CDL license and DOT regulations• Supervise and evaluate all personnel in the department. Prepares (or through designee) annual evaluations of all office personnel, Bus Team members.• Audit driver’s manifest at end of day to make sure paper work is completed correctly• Discipline subordinates• Check cameras on buses, Road Monitoring, Investigate accidents• Safety Committee• Dispatch

• Dispatching, coordinating with carriers, working with NLMI• Work with LTL shipping• Daily inspections on truck and trailers, accident investigations, training and safety • Notify carriers that trailers and semi’s need maintenance • Responsible for tracking containers and cost save in logistic routes • Track Ford and supplier owned container Utilize computer applications such as CMMS, MS Office and MS Outlook to track containers, inventory/cycle count supplier containers• Work closely with Material Planners and with Balance On Hand• Work with Packing Engineer• Writing production processes• Contact suppliers/vendors via email/phone• Analyze for accuracy of raw data to ensure ASN’s are being correctly entered by supplier or plant personnel.• Coordinate inventories or inventory containers at the plant (note: physical counting may have to be done by plant personnel)• Travel to vendor/supply facility to ensure packaging guidelines and processes are met
