With over 18 years of experience as a principal and a board member of two national associations, I am passionate about advancing the quality of education and leadership in schools. As a board member of the American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA), I serve on the Board of Directors and advocate for the rights and interests of school administrators across the country. I am also a past president and a board member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), where I have contributed to the development and implementation of policies and programs that support the professional growth and recognition of principals and assistant principals. In addition, I am pursuing a PhD in Instructional Leadership at Notre Dame of Maryland University, where I am researching best practices and strategies for improving student achievement and teacher effectiveness. My skills in teacher training, teaching, and employee training enable me to facilitate learning and development for both students and staff in my role as a principal in Howard County Public School System.
