Responsible for maintaining and analyzing ledgers for numerous business units within Flow Technology Division. Involved in numerous SAP conversions from legacy ERP systems such as JDE and People Soft. Perform various functions including balance sheet, P/L, AP and AR subledger analysis for business units along with ad hoc reporting. Execute HFM/FDM consolidation for financial reporting at Corporate level. Manage FA for three business units in BEST and SAP. Manage commissions for a large number of commission vendors worldwide. Manage Payroll process for multiple business units that includes booking of all payroll from People Soft into SAP. Prepare account reconciliations including all cash and bank reconciliations. Participate in month end close process. Support primary business unit with cost accounting functions such as physical inventory control and journal entry preparation. Monitor and prepare IC statements in SAP for IC partners to balance prior to HFM consolidation. Calculate and book reserves such as credit memo, warranty, cash discount, Freight, and Bad Debt. Participate in SOX testing of internal controls. Automate numerous functions executed in XL to enhance efficiency. Write XL macros to further drive efficiency for certain functions.

Briefly, I perform various accounting functions pertaining to payroll taxes, pensions, compensation, benefits, etc. This includes account reconcilations, variance analyses, month-end close, and ad-hoc reporting. I am also engaged in numerous projects to improve the efficiency of various functions/prcocesses. I also contribute to the Sarbanes-Oxley requirement of documenting processes for the purpose of enhancing our internal controls.
