I serve as the Operations Sergeant Major for the Seattle Recruiting Battalion, as the director of talent acquisition in a geographically dispersed organization for over 300 employees and 48 facilities across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska. I advise the Battalion Commander and Command Sergeant Major on operational strategies to better position our organization for mission accomplishment with a holistic mindset to improve the lives of our Soldiers, DA Civilians, and families of the Seattle Recruiting Battalion. Serves as a Battalion Senior Master Recruiter trainer in support of 156 recruiters and 16 recruiting stations; is the subject matter expert for all battalion training initiatives; assists the battalion master trainers in determining training needs; conducts training at battalion-level training functions; conducts field training assistance visits; analyzes battalion training data and provides recommendations to the battalion senior master trainer; coordinates and conducts training for policy, doctrine, and information management systems and technology changes; manages all developmental programs and the battalions NCOES order of merit list

Serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the Company Commander (O4) of a Special Operations Company, responsible for recruiting Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF), and Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD); advises the commander on in-service recruiting operations the Western United States, Pacific Command, and mission command of a decentralized company with four geographically dispersed recruiting centers; manages an annual budget of more than $400K and accounts for government property valued at more than $500K; responsible for the overall welfare and professional development of 40 Soldiers.
