I am an enthusiastic and dynamic executive leader with more than 10 years’ experience in management of large scale, complex projects from conception, through delivery, operation and decommissioning. I have both practical and managerial knowledge, having worked my way up in the industry in Europe, Africa, Australia and the Middle East. I have managed budgets of up to AED700M, ensuring that projects are always delivered within cost as well as within schedule. I have extensive knowledge of all project management principles and am highly practiced in managing change requirements such that the experience is seamless for the client. I have extensive experience in establishing, leading and developing multicultural, multidisciplinary teams in demanding environments to exceed customer expectations. Over the last 10+ years I have had oversight of project teams of up to 3500 personnel, who come from a multitude of cultures, backgrounds and experiences. I highly value my role as a coach and mentor to my staff and am recognized for my open door, open communication style, ensuring all my people are constantly made aware of their achievements and contributions as well as areas where they could look to develop themselves. My ability to communicate well and manage relationships in a respectful and collaborative way with all parties from sub-contractors, to suppliers, to other internal stakeholders, and of utmost importance, to clients, has been the lynchpin of my career success. Having managed myself through my previous musical career, has enabled me to gain more knowledge in diverse areas of life and in my current field.
