As an Airside Operations and Safety Officer at Daa, the company that operates Dublin and Cork airports, I have over 11 years of experience in the aviation industry. My core competencies are airspace management, airport operations, and airport security, and I am passionate about delivering the highest standards of service, safety, and security for our airside teams, stakeholders, and customers.In my current role, I oversee and supervise the airside operations day to day tasks , providing dynamic leadership, guidance, and support. I collaborate with air traffic control, airlines, ground handlers, and other airside partners to coordinate and manage the daily operations and activities on the airfield. I also ensure compliance with national and international regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments. My role involves reducing the number of airside incidents, and enhancing the communication and collaboration among the airside community.
