Co-ordinated the setup and delivery of the hospital outpatient flexible cystoscopy service. Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner development role in the holistic assessment and evidence-based management of patients diagnosed with bladder cancer, and meeting the supportive care needs of this cohort of patients.

I worked on a Urological Specialist Ward, which is a tertiary referral centre for complex urologic surgery within the West North West Hospital Group (WNWHG). The ward team works in close collaboration with the Rapid Access Prostate Assessment Clinic (RAPAC) for the surgical management of Prostate Cancer treatment. In this capacity, I delivered nursing care to an assigned group of patients within a best practice / evidence based framework. My focus was on addressing the supportive care needs of men with Urological Cancer and began studying for my Masters in Prostate Cancer Care.
