Performed primary role in design, deployment of AGSI’s web site. Back office systems administration. Oversaw maintenance of back office systems databases. Project lead on integration of U.S. Life and Franklin Financial back office data into our systems when American General acquired these companies. Worked with acquired companies IT staffs to acquire data, then performed necessary data scrubbing and porting into our back office database. A total success.Provided desktop and systems support for 30 in-house employees and over 150 branch offices.Business continuity planning – lead disaster recovery plan development team.Programmer/analyst – Visual Basic, C, SQL, Paradox, Crystal Reports. Utilized these technologies to produce critical performance and informational reports for senior management, compliance, marketing and accounting departments.Document imaging system design and implementation. Identified imaging systems vendor, ported appropriate information from our back office system to the document imaging database, deployed the imaging systems infrastructure (based on serial CD tower storage), and trained end users in usage of the system.Primary liaison for all IT related tasks, working with internal corporate resources and external vendors. Responsible for communication of IT business needs to senior management.Designed and implemented a wide variety of analytical reports for consumption by senior management. Was considered a key member of staff, representing IT department at most senior management meetings.
