Prior to relocating to Lynden, WA from southern California, I was previously employed at a family amusement center in the Palm Springs area, having worked in this hospitality environment as a janitor and ride attendant. From my work experience, I have come to understand that I have a detail-oriented approach to completing tasks from a focused regular routine; that approach became useful later on, where I used my janitorial experiences in a different work environment. Also, during my first year working at the family amusement center, I had the honor of receiving recognition for my job performances there. After completing my transition to Lynden, I worked as a church custodian, and later, as a janitor for a public library. Currently, I am a student at Whatcom Community College, where I am in the process of learning new skills focusing on written communications; my short-term goals, once my educational goals and exploration process is completed, are to research potential opportunities where I can utilize my educationally improved skills in a supportive communications work environment.
