I held the position of Director of NYSE listed Ardmore Shipping Corporation from August 2013 to September 2018 and was a member of the Audit Committee. From October 2011 to August 2012 I was the President and, from October 2016 to April 2017, the Interim General Manager of Align Aerospace France. I was Executive Vice President of AmSafe Inc and CEO of AmSafe Bridport throughout the period October 1998 until March 2011. From March 2011 to March 2012 I was responsible for the commercial distribution business of AmSafe Bridport. I was a board director of Exeter Science Park from 2014 to 2018 where latterly I Chaired the nominations committee, I was a founder member and carried out the role of Chair of the Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) from June 2011 to October 2018 and am currently the Chair of the Trustees of the AmSafe Bridport pension scheme. I was a board member at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce up to November 2017 and a Trustee of Sidmouth Hospiscare to September 2018. I was Chair of SeeData from June 2016 to April 2018. I lectured in Operations, Entrepreneurship and Business in Society at Graduate Diploma level at INTO University of Exeter. I was a guest lecturer at University of Exeter Business School and gave a guest lecture on entrepreneurship at Nova University, Lisbon.From August 2019 to June 2021 I was a member of the Strategic Advisory Team at Buckfast Abbey and until recently I acted as a mentor to students in support of the Year In Industry Group. I continue to mentor business leaders in and around Exeter. In the middle of 2022 I became involved in Gateway Sidmouth and started as Treasurer in the newly formed Charity in June 2023 I have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University, am a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IMechE.
