Bob joined the staff in June 2018 and leads the fundraising team, facilitating their efforts to engage our alumni and cadets with the goal of continuing to transform the Academy and increasing the value proposition of the Association back to our membership. He comes to us following a 29-year Coast Guard career, where his last assignment was Director of Admissions at the Academy.

• Function as Chief Executive Officer of the Coast Guard’s retail exchange system, overseeing all aspects of the profit and loss based operations of a multi-channel 67 store retail chain consisting of 800+ employees located throughout the U.S., including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico with $165M in annual revenues and $6M in net profit. Report semi-annually and as needed to senior executive level Board of Directors.• Oversaw the implementation our initial e-commerce solution and conversion to a comprehensive enterprise resource planning system updating all aspects of our operations including point of sale, merchandising, budgeting, planning, and financial accounting. Both systems were delivered on-time and under budget.• Provide corporate-level programmatic oversight for franchise-based $20M morale, well-being, and recreation program supporting the entire US Coast Guard. Program plays a vital role in delivering services to promote readiness and retention for military personnel and their families including child development centers, teen/youth programs, food and beverage operations, recreational lodging facilities, and golf courses.• Currently serving in the second of a four year term on the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association Board of Directors.
