My practice primarily focused on environmental and OSHA compliance, including hazardous waste, chemical and petroleum bulk storage, spill control, wastewater discharge, toxic substance control, asbestos, pesticide, radiation protection, medical waste, biosafety and biological agent regulations. Although I preferred to help clients stay out of trouble, I also had extensive experience defending clients in enforcement actions. I also worked extensively on food, drug and cosmetic (FDA) law, fire and building code issues, and NYS regulatory fees and special assessments.I came to Bond in 1988 after nine years of environmental practice in the Office of General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Before that I was associated with the Washington office of the Kirkland & Ellis law firm where I also worked on environmental and OSHA issues.I am admitted to the bar in New York, New Hampshire and the District of Columbia.

I was in the Pesticides and Toxics Branch. In addition to writing regulations and guidance documents and supporting the Agency's special review and reregistration processes, I also was involved in the successful defense of FIFRA's data sharing and compensation provisions that ultimately was decided by the US Supreme Court in Ruckelshaus v. Monsanto. I also represented the Agency in administrative litigation concerning the cancelation/suspension of the registrations for dibromochloropropane (DBCP), ethylene dibromide (EDB), alar and diazinon,
