Worked for Laing O'Rourke Australia on the Australia Pacific Liquid Natural Gas (APLNG) project. Responsibilities included preparation and submission of head contract progress claims, management and procurement of plant equipment, cost forecasting and general commercial administration.

Worked for Laing O'Rourke Australia on Bowen Hills Government Office Building development located in Brisbane, Australia. The contract value for this project was $275,000,000.00 AUD Undertook lead role in procuring all Consultancy Agreements and related budgets. In total twenty four Consultancy Agreements were procured during this time. Commercial duties also included timely evaluation and payment of consultant progress claims submitted underBCIPA legislation, cash flow forecasts, monthly accrurals and general commercial administration.

Worked for Laing O'Rourke Australia as a Quantity Surveyor on Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre project. Contract value for this project was $125,000,000.00 AUD Responsible for tendering, procurement and subcontract monitoring. Other duties include assisting in the preparation of headcontract variations, building services coordination and health, safety and environmental matters.Commercial responsibilities also extend to preparation and submission of RFIs, delay claims, timely evaluation and payment of subcontractor progress claims submitted underBCIPA legislation, contra-charge notices and general commercial administration.

Mater Hospital Auditorium and Carpark. Five-level multi-storey carpark providing 1530 carparking spaces, including two access points. Other work involved the construction of a 1500 seat auditorium with ablution facilities and a roof top playing field consisting of astro-turf.

Rectification of post completion Category 1 and 2 building defects. Solely responsible for all commercial management and major rectification work including but not limited to the re-glazing of 30 level apartment complex, structural cracking in post tension beam of apartment complex, replacement of external building louvres to 34 level apartment complex, detection and rectification of significant water ingress issues on multiple projects. All projects located in South East Queensland areas.

My position included responsibility for off-site administration of construction projects. In addition, responsibilities included the monitoring and management of programmes; including establishment and alterations, job tendering and estimating, preparation of contract documents, analysis of subcontractor tenders and letting contracts, liaising with subcontractors and clients and preparation of As-Built documentation.
