By leading and overseeing the EPC Contractor’s team of professional designers, engineers, contract managers, the procurement division, the health safety and environmental department, the construction teams and other professionals, he ensures projects are executed safely, legally and efficiently.Robert was previously employed as Senior Project Manager at Murray & Roberts Projects (A division of M&R Limited) reporting to the COO, responsible for structuring of the EPC Platform paving the way for M&R to establish itself as a major EPC player in the renewable energy sector. At Lesedi Nuclear Services, he fulfilled a similar role, reporting to the Executive Committee. At Lesedi Robert was responsible for renewable energy projects from project initiation to project closure, actively managing all processes throughout the project life cycle. He further actively participated in strategy and risk management meetings.As a project management and construction specialist, Robert represented both IPPs and EPC Contractors and have in-depth knowledge of utility scale renewable energy project development and execution. On most projects he was involved throughout the entire project life cycle. As Project Manager, he executed projects in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
