Main role is to provide a planning and engineering consultancy service for ground operations covering all of the North Region. Achievements include:• Project managed and lead large scale changes across over 21 stations in the UK including hardware upgrades, yard to warehouse layout changes to better work flow and process improvements to better improve profit and growth as well as outline efficiency gaps within a station via data / on-site visits.• Use of data analytics such as Power BI and Microsoft Office to view trends across multiple stations in order to detect efficiency dips and use route cause analysis to resolve issues in a timely manner.• Responsible for and delivered major changes in the transitional period of TNT to FedEx stations as well as hardware changes:o Leading and project managing over 19 station transitions in a three year period from a TNT to a FEDEX operation, including changing their IT infrastructure, internal process creation including SOPs, route and manning models as well as analysis on cost saving areas to improve efficiency. o Led a UK based transition of a hardware change in scanning equipment. A 6 month project in which I was responsible for allocating the appropriate resource within the west region such as IT and engineers, install the latest hardware into stations and simultaneously configure them to route to their assigned station. Successfully implemented at every station by January 2023.o Investigating cost-analysis and efficiency for every station in the Northern region involving analysis of each function to see if improvements can be made in:o Addition of mechanised belt(s) to increase flow rate and linehaul capacity.o Creation of staffing model to understand FTE availability and requirements.o Warehouse layout improvements (use of MS Visio to model current layout and find where improvements can be made).
