About Robert Milstein

In my prior LinkedIn, I had 6,700 connections...but why? In my current position, I am interested in quality connections where we each benefit from each other's skills, talents and training. I am an Instructor at Coyne College where I teach healthcare professionals: writing, workplace skills and law and ethics. Prior to Coyne, I was an Associate Professor at NW College in Chicago where I taught: Ethics, Critical Thinking, Public Speaking, introductory Psychology, Advanced Composition (research) , Composition, Business Communication, Freshman Seminar and Professional Development. My career has spanned the for profit and not for profit sectors. Not for profit companies I worked for: Prevent Child Abuse America, NW Community Hospital, Advocate-Aurora Healthcare, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, the American Cancer Society and B’nai B’rith International. My for profit organizations were: London House (psychological testing for business and industry, Radio Shack, Tandy (Computers), and several small computer consulting firms. In the earliest part of my career, I was a radio DJ for KCEE in Tucson, AZ. and news reporter for KUAT-NPR. I had the opportunity to meet: Robert and Edward Kennedy; Mr. Rogers; Russel Means; Gerda Weissmann Klein (born Gerda Weissmann, May 8, 1924, Bielsko, Poland) a Polish American writer and human rights activist ; Elie Wiesel, who once said, “There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.”I would consider myself friendly, persuasive, open minded, radically transparent, focused and disciplined.
