• Leads and directs 850+ members of Headquarters AFSOC staff and with an annual budget of $3.7B.• Coordinates at 2- and 3-star levels on a daily basis in support of 19.5K person organization operating around the globe, including active duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve forces.• Incorporates command leadership decisions, direction, and policies into current processes; develops new processes as needed; ensures command-wide policy development, staff guidance, and operating procedures meet AFSOC Commander intent, Higher Headquarters direction and public law.• Monitors operations, personnel, and protocol actions to ensure that the command develops and maximizes capabilities and opportunities.• Oversees coordination and interface with HQ USAF, US Special Operations Command, other Special Operations Forces components, DoD senior leadership, and federal agencies.

• Led Wing staff agencies supporting 1100+ Airmen at eight air bases in Iraq; guided all Air Expeditionary Wing-level actions in the joint theater.• Provided key oversight of Wing financial management, including Central Command Air Forces, International Security Forces, and Foreign Military Sales actions of over $1B.• Led a United Arab Emirates (UAE) bed-down for a first-ever Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member deployment in support of anti-terrorist activities in Afghanistan.• Initiated and maintained strategic dialogue with UAE Air Forces commander, thereby securing over $25M from the UAE for air base improvements in Afghanistan supporting GCC’s deployments.

• Led senior military and civilian staff oversight of worldwide DoD sensitive activities and operations.• Provided policy guidance and management on issues of national security and clandestine operations and reported all activities to Congress on a quarterly basis.• Coordinated critical clandestine activities with Combatant Commands, Services, Joint Staff, intelligence community, congressional staff, and other Inter-agency and US government departments.• Performed personnel, budget, and administrative actions to ensure proper resourcing and execution of global clandestine activities.
