Working with HR, Quality and IT, we were able to accomplish the following in just a couple of years:• Reduced recordable injury rate from 1.26 to .61• Interlaced EHS processes with Quality to use a single closed loop corrective action process and allow managers to have a single dashboard report including those items being pushed and tracked for maintenance. • Migrated the safety training system to an online automated system that can generate reports and KPIs. • Worked with Corporate Medical and Technical Training to get all pipeline service personnel compliant with UKOOA and DOT PHMSA requirements.• Created a model for training delivery that reduced overlap of multiple requirements and saved a net $3.6 million annually • Increased strategic partnerships with external customers to reduce common safety issues in the field (access issues, LOTO, airborne exposures, etc….)• Developed and implemented a database driven Behavior-Based Safety system program to identify common problems and re-focus efforts• Worked with technical training to integrate EHS into worker qualification modules and technical training courses
