Working as part of the Group Credit Risk function, providing robust check and challenge as part of the 2nd line of defence. Key responsibilities include:- Analysing and reporting on key portfolio trends to Risk Leadership Team and the Group Board.- Undertaking thematic analysis, including from a regulatory, asset and sector basis.- Stress testing the bank, including feeding in directly to the ICAAP process.- Supporting large deal credit quality assurance across all sectors of the banking portfolio >£1m, including asset finance, project green energy finance, invoice finance, property development and investment facilities and insurer / broker contingent liabilities.- Reviewing modeling and scorecard approaches taken across the business.- Subject matter expert for the central credit risk management information tool and instrumental in driving improvements and providing internal training.- Monitor Financial Institution and Non-Banking Financial Institution limits, and credit policy as well as producing all papers for the FI & NBFI credit committee.- Input in to Bank strategy and Investor Relation / Credit Rating Agencies.- Understand and explain key credit risk issues with all new business initiatives, including proposals for mitigants to key risks across a variety of fields.- Support forward looking, pre-emptive risk analysis to support senior management decision
