I work in the Data Governance group with a particular focus on the SAP implementation for the enterprise. My primary responsibility is to manage the data conversion for a value stream (FI/CO and JVA modules), including understanding legacy and target structures and uses for the data, designing/implementing ETL, building load plans and facilitating test loads and production cutover (from a data perspective). Secondary responsibilities include understanding integration and BI efforts and working to ensure everything follows enterprise standards in alignment with Enterprise Architecture. I apply enterprise data management policies and practices to ensure conformity across multiple domains. This position manages and obtains an in-depth knowledge of how master data and data quality impacts enterprise processes and has overall responsibility for managing the maintenance of master data, hierarchies and data quality rules across value streams at Chesapeake Energy. I work in EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) as a Sr Software Developer with various responsibilities. I interact with business customers and delivery teams to determine requirements and facilitate user testing. I model the schema designs, determine the data flows, design and develop ETL mappings and perform unit testing. In addition, I develop and support customer facing information services for specific uses in the enterprise. I also work on internal applications that facilitate requirements gathering and ETL automation with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing waste.

I work in the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) department serving business users by merging data from multiple systems and providing avenues for users to access it through reporting tools, web/data services and custom applications.Environment:ETL Development with InformaticaOracle Data Warehouse.Net development (C#)Specific Accomplishments:Built applications for our group that enforce standards and create efficiencies:Mapping DesignerTightly aligns with our Data Warehousing best practices and standards, allowing EDW analysts to input source queries, select source columns and target tables and build expressions and transformations. Includes non-functional features like versioning and validity checks to alert the analyst of potential issues. When utilized with a client app, the persisted metadata is used to forward generate the mapping in Informatica. We vastly improved the accuracy of new mappings, decreased the communication needed between analysts and developers and cut the development/testing time of mappings by over 50%.Schema DesignerProvides analysts and developers the means to design and build logical and physical schemas. Users can add tables, columns, a primary key, alternate keys and indexes and assign grant rights. The application includes versioning, DDL generation, ERD diagrams and the ability to compare designs to other logical versions of the same model and physical databases. The application includes validation for over 20 EDW rules and standards and tightly integrates with Mapping Designer, using the metadata to display lineage and ETL data flows.

Took the lead on major development projects, specializing in ERP customization and integration. Consulted with customers to determine business needs and technical abilities. Designed solutions to meet requirements and provided the details for quotes.
