Merchandising Execution Managers (MEM) lead and oversee a traveling team which executes a large scope of merchandising projects and resets per store for a group of stores within an assigned district, which are usually completed overnightMEM's manage key team metrics including safety, quality and productivityMEMs are responsible for staffing, training and discipline of supervisors and associates, and execute district wide projects and initiatives as directed by the DEMMEMs coach and train MET Supervisors and associatesThis team enhances the customer environment by ensuring merchandising project and reset strategies and programs are executed successfully, as directed by the District Execution Manager (DEM) and Merchandising Services organizationMEM will conduct routine quality walks and generate reports to drive execution of written and established Merchandising StandardsThe MEM must also remain focused on Regional specific business objectives as outlined by the Regional Director of MET Execution (RDME) and District Execution Manager (DEM)30% - Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback; Responsible for the overall performance and manage the team metrics including safety, quality, and productivity;Responsible Physical Security while MOD; Manage and monitor team's budgetPartner with DEM on scheduled project activities; MEM's serve as key point of contact for 3rd parties30% - Verify execution of deliverables and guidelines; Communicate and ensure resolution on task completing; Distribute project instructions;Responsible for submitting store mapping concerns,and ensuring the completion of surveys of existing bay components and architectureProvide guidance, set priorities, and assist with assigned tasks related to projects and resetsThis position reports to District Execution Manager

Responsibilities include leading the Store in the following areas: Associate development, supervision of merchandise sales areas to ensure execution according to Kohl’s Best Practices, communications, analysis of business operations, expense management, and general management of the Store as part of the Store Management TeamLeads and directs the Area Supervisor, Supervisor and Associate teams in the following areas:Provides the interpretation, administration and direction for Kohl’s Service Standards (KSS), including the Customer Service Survey, “Yes We Can” Program, and other Customer Service programsAccountable for results of Customer Service programs through the Customer Service ScorecardLeads/directs Area Supervisors in the standard for Customer issue resolutionResolves escalated Customer complaintsDetermines source of issues and takes initiative to identify and resolve themRecommends solutions to avoid future occurrencesManages sales floor Associates to meet and/or exceed Customer Service occurrencessupports and participates in the execution of the “E3” programInterprets, directs and leads capacity and merchandise directivesEnsures Company merchandise presentation directives and standards are met while merchandising incoming freight and replenishing the sales floorLead Associate team to ensure total store cleanliness and recovery standards are metCompetitively shops competition and communicates results to Store ManagerReviews business summary for sales opportunities
