Robert Murray’s background includes running his own firm for the last five years, offering signage, wayfinding and environmental graphics and a previous 11 years at NBBJ. He works closely with clients, large and small, to craft unique environments and experiences, integrate art and graphics into architectural designs, translate brands to fit a workplace, and add to the functionality of spaces through wayfinding. He’s particularly good at listening, then designing a solution that exceeds client’s imaginations. Robert works in all phases of the design process, starting with concept development and managing projects all the way through fabrication and installation.His firm, Robert Murray Design, works with a wide range of client and project types, including health care facilities, corporate offices, educational campuses, sports facilities and scientific research institutions. Specialty design services include: exterior building signs; wayfinding and directional signs; interior identification signs; wall graphics and murals; interactive and informational displays; donor recognition; maps, symbols, and logos.He works directly with architects, building owners and tenants, often in partnership with other designers.
