Robert Mwangi is an industrious and self - motivated individual who is mainly passionate about engaging men, both young and old, in recognising the negative effects traditional social norms of power and gender have on our women. With over 3 years experience in Male Engagement, Robert has helped address the ever-present influence of patriarchy in the society, he’s helped in balancing the need to provide safe spaces for men to reflect on gender norms and inequality with the ultimate goal of bringing men to supporting women while making a concerted effort to avoid gender binary. He strongly believes that the only way the society can curb gender discrimination is through a conceited effort from both genders to effect the change. It only works when everyone plays!Additionally, Robert is an AI and Machine Learning licensee with certifications from IBM Africa. He firmly believes that a new workforce is set to sprout with the ceaselessly advancing technology. He believes that the process will be arduous but exciting for those who will be agile and ready to equip themselves with heterogeneous skill set needed to pull through the future of work. He is also an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner who leverages this skill to enhance collaboration and alignment in his day-to-day activities.During his free time, Robert enjoys volunteering, playing hockey and soccer, cycling, taking walks along the beach shores, travelling and socialising. He would appreciate connecting with diverse professionals who share similar interests and values.
