September 2018 to July 2020, Judlau / EJ Electric (AJV) - Rehabilitation of the Avenue Z Substation within NYCT's Coney Island Yard (NYCT contract P-36701). The substation will remain "live" during the renovation of the substation. The project includes the removal and replacement of transformer, rectifier and switch-gear equipment. Installation of new Con Ed service, via drilled-pile supported concrete duct-bank. Installation of new 3rd rail power feeders to the elevated track via a new drilled pile supported steel cable-bridge. Roof replacement, masonry repairs, HVAC upgrades. Site utility upgrades including new 2" water service and sewers. July 2015 to September 2018 - TBTA project QM-40 - (Assistant Project Manager) Rehabilitation of the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Upgrades and replacement to all MEP systems within both tubes, including new lighting, new F.O. line, control systems, replacement of fire-standpipe, replacement of pump-room pumps. Replacement of all curb, catwalk, wall tile, fire-proof ceiling panels, misc. concrete repairs within the roadway, supply & return air ducts. Roadway repairs, including concrete repairs, new manholes, installation of raod deck waterproofing, mill / pave entire roadway surface. Structural upgrades to ceiling support system and the pump-room. Removal of Queens toll plaza, repaving of the toll plaza's. Installation of new EZ PAss system including the steel gantry's. Managing the construction of six (6) separate buildings for NYCT within the subway. Facilities include three (3) new Relay Rooms, new Master tower facility, new ADA bathroom facility, two (2) new Signal workshops. Work includes structural steel framing, reinforced cast-in-place concrete, masonry metal ceilings and paint. Value :$8.4M, Subcontractor to Five-Star Electric. Project Manager, NYSDOT Contract D261003, Construction of Starlite Park / Bronx River Greenway ($17.1 million). Managed all daily aspects of the finishes portion of the project. Including subcontractor buyouts, project cost control, purchasing, coordination of subcontractors, change orders and scheduling. The finish work included custom granite coping and pavers, decorative steel cable-rail, colored concrete, fencing, landscaping and playground equipment. The project also included the installation of a pre-cast boat ramp, the installation of removable steel support piles, two (2) gangways and two (2) floating docks into the Bronx River. Project Manager, Army Corp of Engineers, Fort Hamilton Armed Forces Reserve Center ($1.3 million). Installation of new concrete curbs and sidewalks. Milling and asphalt paving of existing new parking lots and access roads. Assistant Project Manager, MTA / NYCT Contract C-34766 Rehabilitation of the Ocean Parkway Viaduct, Phase II ($7.7 million). Managed all daily aspects of the project, including subcontractor buyouts, project cost control, purchasing, coordination of subcontractors. Managed an office staff consisting of a Quality Manger, Safety Manager and Assistant Super. Preparation and negotiation of change orders. The work included the installation of temporary steel shoring towers, phased removal and replacement of structural concrete on the twelve (12) concrete support columns of an active train Line. Other tasks included the installation of eight (8) - eighty-eight foot (88’) long pre-tensioning rods, crack and spall repairs, installation of pre-cast concrete art panels, restoration, removal and replacement of historic Terra-Cotta tiles.

Managed numerous multi-million dollar projects, as a subcontractor on MTA / NYCT projects. The work included demolition, installation of new steel framed buildings, new track components and signal support work. Majority of the work was performed within the tunnels, station areas and on the elevated structure. Dealt directly with the agency as the subcontractor, for all civil related work contracted with the General Contractor. This included attending all progress meetings, CPM schedule update meetings and negotiating all change orders with the agency.
