Responsible for preparation and submittal of monthly Contractor Activity Report (CAR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR). Gaining insight into DIA E-SITE process.

Senior Planning And Scheduling Consultant

Kairos, Inc. consultant to PMA-213C Combat Identification (CID) Program and engineering support from the Naval Air Weapons Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Quick study of the Mark VII/VIIA Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) implementation requiring ongoing hardware and software development, test, and installation for virtually every ship and aircraft platform in the Fleet. This encrypted system delineates aircraft and surface(d) vessels as friend or foe and feeds target information to the surface combat system. Software is certified for interoperability through a two month AIMS process (Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System (ATCRBS), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Mark XII/XIIA, Systems) and then the platform is certified through an 18 month National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) SPECTRUM flight test certification process before receiving a permanent radio frequency assignment. NAWCAD provides accomplished engineering support to PMA-213C. NAWCAD conducts all shipboard installations and various NAVAIR platform program offices are funded by PMA-213C to conduct all aircraft installations. BAE is under contract with PMA-213C to produce a significant portion of the hardware used on both ships and aircraft.Provided consulting support to assist PMA-213C generate the response to N2/N6 Pentagon Resource Manager direction to accelerate the Mode 5 program. Delivered shipboard accelerated schedule. Analyzed aircraft certification schedules to produce a high level picture of current schedule in comparison to the acceleration deadline. Member of the Mode S development and test team. Participated in engineering and contracts meetings to oversee BAE subcontracts. Subcontract CDRL tracking. Good experience to see the Government "side of the fence". Excellent group of people to work with. Left the program on excellent terms. 3.5 hour daily round-trip commute proved to be too much. Relocation required to make it permanent.

This was the largest aviation contract in U.S. history. NG ES provided avionics, AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) targeting and fire control radar, electro-optical sensors for 360 degrees pilot situation awareness, and the introduction of SGMTI (Slow Ground Moving Target Indicator/Locator). The MFA (multi-function array) featured a revolutionary transmit/receive module design born out of prototyping iterations conducted in collaboration with the NG Advanced Technology Laboratory. • F-35 Advanced Capability Demonstration Program which performed test flights and ultimately performed a live demonstration of the SGMTI tracking, targeting, fire control, guidance control making a direct hit on a moving target using a JDAM missile for targets that were previously invisible to radar in the early Iraq war. $0.5B effort included $50M in capital and $450M in IR&D. Ran concurrent with the $50M contract. • Performed as DPM of the B2C Radar Upgrade program which was an engineering effort to evaluate the existing B2 radar implementation and replace it with an AESA radar capability.
