Robert Nelsen is an associate attorney at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP working tirelessly for the interests of Plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and products liability matters. Since starting at the firm, Mr. Nelsen has assisted and participated in several significant trials that ultimately resulted in seven and eight figure verdicts for the clients. He has also overseen dozens of six, seven, and eight figure settlements achieved during each stage of litigation.In the fall of 2013, he co-tried the case of Hackett v. Silva Trucking, et al with Robert Buccola, Steven Campora, Ryan Dostart and Eliot Reiner wherein the jury returned a verdict of $34,921,215.33 (an additional $4,664,330.48 in pre-judgment interest and expert costs were subsequently added to the verdict). This was the largest personal injury verdict in the State of California in 2013 and remains the largest personal injury verdict in Sacramento County.Mr. Nelsen was listed in Sacramento Magazine's Top Lawyers for personal injury in 2017 and 2019 and was included on the list of "Rising Stars" in the Northern California edition of Super Lawyers Magazine from 2015 to the present - an award given to no more than 2.5 percent of the practicing profession in California. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association and is a Board Member and Membership Chair of the Lincoln Law School Alumni Association.Born in San Francisco, Mr. Nelsen moved to the Sacramento area at a young age and has been a resident of the Sacramento region ever since. He has been a drummer since the age of ten and takes time to play and watch live music whenever possible. He is also an avid soccer fan.
