I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 4 years as a server in order to help get through the expenses of college. The experience has provided me with substantial people skills necessary to work with and potentially lead a diverse team of individuals working on a project.I was exposed to computers at the age of 7 and have held a strong interest with them ever since. My job as an IT Administrator is one where I am on call 24/7 to address computer issues remotely via phone or remote computer. The job has kept me continuously tested and practiced when it comes to problem solving computer issues. It has also provided me with valuable indirect communication skills. I am very quick to learn anything computer related.In the summer of 2007, I gained valuable and practical mechanical knowledge from Stewart and Stevenson as a field technician intern. During my time there, I was exposed to many challenges, including diagnosing faulty equipment, rebuilding diesel engines, and maintaining a project time-frame. Equipment worked on included but not limited to wire line trucks, frac pump units, and drilling units.My goal is to keep learning and integrate my past experiences from school and jobs so that I may become a successful engineer who is considered a more than valuable asset to his team. I am currently seeking an entry level full-time petroleum engineering position where I can accomplish and exceed my goals.
