CurrentAssists the PMISB Chief to determine and communicate program plans, missions and objectives, assignments, projects, issues, solutions for problems, and work progress or deadlines.Provides program guidance to the HRIS team.Ensures HRIS team members maintain awareness and participate in planning processes to achieve team goals/objectives.Assists the PMISB Chief in exploring alternatives and in determining work methods, work processes or procedural improvements.Recommends methods to identify, analyze and improve team efficiency/effectiveness.Conveys team findings, makes recommendations during interactions with higher level officials and represents the team during discussions to assist the PMISB Chief obtain or procure team resources and decisions on issues affecting team operations.Exercises full technical authority for independently carrying out complex studies and analyses of the FSISs HRIS Program. Compiles statistical and narrative reports to identify specific needs or problems.Assists the PMISB Chief in maintaining an effective HRIS Program that is compliant and in conjunction with Department-wide initiatives.Assists the PMISB Chief in formulating policies, procedures, and program objectives governing HRIS to meet current and long-range FSIS needs.Provides technical advice and guidance to the PMISB Chief and FSIS officials on the impact of programs, offering alternatives to meet customer needs.Responsible for development, improvement, implementation and coordination of policies and procedures for system application for programs and activities.
