Jigsaw Medical Services Ltd consists of 3 divisions;Providing front line ‘999’ ambulances to 10 of the 11 NHS ambulance trusts who use private providers. Our ambulances are fully staffed by paramedics and ambulance crews, most of whom are employed by Jigsaw. Medical cover for high profile sporting and other events using our own resources of ambulances and medical staff. Training – from commercial first aid training at Jigsaw’s branches and/or clients own premises, to full paramedic level training for development of existing medical staff. My specific contribution / achievements to the company’s rapid ‘year on year’ growth has been to:I personally led the drive to recruit the ‘right fit’ internal staff i.e. people who have the required skill set, the potential for growth and development and who have the right attitude and cultural fit. The result is that attrition rate has been virtually nil and the #Team Jigsaw ethos is the envy of it’s competitors.I was responsible for the internal staff receiving continuous management, leadership, sales and/or continuous development training appropriate to their role and potential.I supported client liaison, sales activities and business development. I located and established new branches in strategic locations throughout the UK in order to deliver and service new business. This involved liaising with clients over suitable locations, finding and negotiating premises and recruiting staff – all within budget and timescales.I was very active as a board director in working to achieve short and long term financial plans and KPI’s in relation to sales/turnover, P&L, cashflow and shareholder funds.
