As an Executive and Retirement Associate I have provided expert level retirement consultingand investment education on a daily basis across hundreds of different retirement plans including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Non-Qualified plans. The conversations have ranged from the highly complex such as in depth Net Unrealized Appreciation with high net worth participants to simpler contribution discussions concerning the differences between Roth and pre-tax dollars with new participants just enrolling in a retirement plan for the first time. In all of the conversations I have used my ability to build rapport to communicate on a level the participant is comfortable with to create a positive experience for whoever is on the line. I have also used my past sales experience to educate participants in our client-first business model and promote our full set of services, including funds and all of our advice services. As a top EaRS performer I have shown the ability to be efficient and accurate which would allow me to take on more sales opportunities and close them using fewer interactions. I have also specifically developed my interpersonal skills during this time by completing theVanguard University sponsored Crucial Conversations Course. This course has assisted me incountless conversations with difficult clients, allowing to me turn tough calls into relationshipbuilding experiences. I have also completed the Retirement Plan Fundamentals course and have trained and coached all levels of fellow associates
