Responsible for the planning, execution, certification, inspection, testing and recording of all current operations personnel training assigned to the National Airborne Operations Center.

-Responsible for the welfare, discipline, morale and mission accomplishment of all tasks assigned to the battalion (approx. 1000 Marines and Sailors)-Developed and executed training programs and policies to increase the tactical proficiency, increase good order and discipline, enhance combat readiness, and improve Marine, Sailor and family welfare throughout the battalion.-Coordinated the employment of battalion and attachments assigned. Responsible Officer for the serialized equipment (approx. $100M) and all personnel assigned to the battalion.-Implemented policy letters and directives to ensure proper guidance and procedures are understood and followed throughout the battalion.-Oversaw the development of individual and unit leadership, mental and physical training, and overall preparedness for mission accomplishment.

-Directed and supervised the employment of 7th Marine Regimental units with over 5000 Marines and Sailors.-Implemented plans for tactical troop movements and supervised the execution of training programs, directives, orders and field exercises.-Administered the organization and operation of schools. Coordinated training, inspections and tests.

-Effectively ensured the Recruit Station (comprising 12 sub-stations, approx. 100 Marines, spread out over 100s of square miles) achieves assigned contracting and shipping goals, by category, for each month, and for the year.-Provided hands-on leadership and oversight for all recruiting activities (Officer and Enlisted), sales training, marketing, annual budgets, facilities, personnel, and equipment assigned.-Closely monitored the shipping and production quality operations processes to achieve monthly and yearly goals.

-Developed, issued orders, and supervised execution for all Battalion Operations and exercises, and coordinated the professional development, welfare and morale of all Marines in the Operations Section.-Created and submitted the required training and operations reports to higher headquarters.-Formulated and consistently updated the yearly, quarterly and monthly training/operations calendar.-Supervised the execution of all Battalion and Company training and coordinated the organization and execution of Combat Operations Center.

-Provided expert leadership and direction to training, welfare and morale of all Marines and Sailors assigned to the Company (Approx. 160). -Advised the Battalion Commander on the employment of Weapons Company assets to include mortars, rockets, artillery, and air delivered ordnance. -Served as Battalion Fire Support Coordinator, accountable for planning, authorizing and recording of all fire support assets and effects. -Managed and maintained all assigned weapons, vehicles and equipment.

-Provide newly commissioned officers with the knowledge, attitudes, values, and leadership skills necessary to effectively discharge the duties of a company grade officer in the Fleet Marine Force.-Train, educate, and evaluate student officers during training and exercises.-Serve as a role model/mentor for newly commissioned officers.

-Responsible for the welfare, training, mission accomplishment and overall well-being of Marines and Sailors (from 30-160 people).-Managed and maintained all assigned weapons, vehicles and equipment.
