As a Traffic Homicide Investigator, I have special training that goes way beyond standard accident investigation and equips me to conduct an investigation of the site of a serious or fatal collision and to treat it as a crime scene. I have operated originally as a traffic officer and have investigated a great number of nonfatal crashes and have advanced towards more in-depth crash investigation. My primary function when called upon is to take over an investigation at an early stage and see it through to its conclusion. As a Traffic Homicide Investigator I could be considered "part physicist, part policeman and part victim's advocate". My duties include but are not limited to carefully documenting the scene of a crash, ideally in a manner thorough enough to allow for a reconstruction of the scene at a later time, after the roadway has been reopened. This includes documenting the precise details of the roadway on which the fatality occurred; the state of any vehicles involved, including the use of safety features; the condition, legal status and attitude of the operator or operators of any vehicles, and any other local factors such as the weather and the presence or absence of appropriate road signage. In addition, I will conduct interviews with drivers and witnesses to assist in building up an overall picture of what led to the crash and provide a case file upon conclusion to the District Attorney for review.

To become an Alabama State Trooper I had to complete an in depth criminal and security background check. I attended a six month military style academy that is designed to prepare me mentally and physically for all aspects of the job. As a State trooper, I patrolled highways and enforced traffic laws, provided emergency assistance and helped to prevent crime and apprehend criminal offenders. I focused on and was recognized for a high rate of drunk driver arrests and convictions.

As a Broker / Franchise owner I was the CEO of my own company. I hired and trained all agents, hired and trained support staff, held weekly sales meetings and provided individual coaching to help agents meet their individual goals. In addition, I wrote the company budget, used quick books for all bookkeeping and was responsible for all cash flow in and out of the company.

Worked in the new and used car sales department. Immediately excelled in sales and was consistently in the top three sales representatives out of a staff of 25. The last full year of auto sales prior to going into real estate I completed 326 unit sales and had a customer base of over 1000 happy drivers!

As a Store Director for Gregerson's Foods, I was responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of a 35,000 square foot full service food store. As the Director I would oversee the work of employees, keep track of inventory and sales, and place orders for new products. I ensured that customers are able to find what they need and enjoy their buying experiences by skillfully arranging shelves and displays. I had 10 managers reporting to me which required strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. One of the primary responsibilities of the Director is to ensure that the department managers complete their daily procedures. As a professional, I delegated responsibilities and monitored progress on various tasks. I conducted routine performance reviews with managers and helped them improve their skills. As Director I also monitored training of new workers and provided ongoing training when new policies or procedures were instated. In addition to supervisory and customer service duties, as the Store Director I performed a variety of clerical and accounting duties. I regularly reviewed inventory and sales records, determined prices, and dealt with vendors. I was involved with all large orders with distribution companies and made sure that shipments were ordered and arrived as needed.
