Member of the Technology Developer and Analyst Program at BAMLI work on the FX Support team which offers 24x7 technical support for a suite of over 40 applications. I spent the past summer doing exciting research under Professor Mukundan Iyengar into data visualization and eventually data retrieval and analysis.I used Python and various APIs such as Snap and PyEnchant to develop a program which could create a web (visualized directed graph) of similar music artists. Additionally, the program was capable of providing significant statistics and information about the artists and retrieving the most recent tweets regarding them.I spent the latter portion of my research exploring more effective tweet analysis software. I utilized the Twitter API to pull thousands of tweets which I then analyzed using Python. I also implemented Flask to design a webpage for the program that I developed.
